A manufacturing company purchase raw material from supplier and convert raw material into finished product,,,, and also doing trading of raw material,,,,
My question is that can enterprises take input of excise on trading activities????

The manufacturer can do the trading activity but on the trading goods cenvat credit will not be applicable. If process amounts to manufacture then it will count as a manufactured goods.
