Dear All,
Pls. guide me about maximum wages limit for deduction of E.P.F (Employees Provident Fund. Means if any person wages exceeds the limit than no requirement of e.p.f deduction.
As per E.P.F Rule any wage limit is fixed or not.
For example , E.S.I.C maximum wages Limit is Rs.10000.00
Pls. help me with details.

EPF deduction maximum wages limit up to 6500/= if employee want deduct his contibution after EPF limit he can deposit. no need to employer deposit EPF after EPF limit.

SIR, BUT I SEE IN MANY OF CO. THAT ABOVE RS.6500/= ALSO DEDUCT P.F AND DEPOSIT WITH EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTION & ALSO AS PER KNOWLEDGE RS.6500/= LIMIT FOR EMPLOYEE PENSION SCHEME UNDER E.P.F. NOT A MAXIMUM WAGES LIMIT.

Employer can give any extra benfit to his employee. there is no restraction for extra benfit.
Limit fixed only for those who dont want payor give any benfit to his employee. its only in favour of worker.
