whether individuals,huf,partnership firm covered under section 44AB will have to file i.t.return by using digital signatures?

04 May 2012 yes. all assessee covered under sec 44AB i.e tax audit have to file IT return using digital signature.

04 May 2012 what if a partnership firm is not covered under audit? in that case e filling have to be done? if yes then digital signatures compulsory?

04 May 2012 partnership firm not covered under audit, return can be filed without digital signature. return can be filed manually as well.
