Is it taxable in the hands of a NON-RESIDENT..?

The below are the cases where a Non- Resident is taxable in India.

1)As per sec. 7 & 8, Income received or deemed to be received in India and

2)As per sec. 9, Income accruing or deemed to accrue or arise in India.

As the given situation does not fall under any of the above two cases, A Non-Resident is not taxable in India for Dividends received from a foreign company outside India (abroad).
