Dear Expert,
One Foreign national wans to become director in Indian Pvt Ltd Company, she is Canadian national. She has Passport and Copy of Indian Origin Card on which only her name and date of birth is given, but father name and address is not given.

1)She has PAN card and joint bank account in India for her Indian Income, Can we attach copy of PAN card as a proof of Identity and copy of bank statement as a proof of address to get DIN?
2)If the Canadian proof of Identity and address is required to be given then what documents we can enclose?
4) Can a present director of Indian company in which she wants to become director attest the photograph and documents to be enclosed. Please Guide?

1, you can give the pan card and bank account statement.
2.in this case you can submit passport and indian origin card attested by a company secretary, or chartered accountant.

But sir, as she is a foreign national, so can Practicing Indian Chartered Accountant attest it or a director of a company in which she wants to be director can only attest the same. Pls guide

Some view is that, it should be attested by the notory of the country in which she reside or by the director of a company in which she wants to be a director.Pls Guide?

in my opinion it should be certified by indian authorised person , he may be a notory public.
