ple let me know about the Procedure of VAT return filling and about the Forms required to be filled.

Mr Ajagiya,
VAT return filing is done manually by filling a prescribed form with your trade particulars for a month and submit it along with a cheque,if required.Recently,many States have introduced e-filing of monthly returns. For this purpose they have opened a web site e.g.in Karnataka www.ctax.kar.nic.in
wherein you get all necessary details.Your VAT office will issue a special username and a password,using which, you can open the website,get the form online ,fill and submit it.Any tax payments are to be directl ymade to the dept with ack

But i am in Gujarat, as well as my knowledge is concern, in gujarat e-filling is available but i hav no idea about Return and whether it is monthly or quarterly.
Please any expert belongs from Gujarat, having any idea about it..let me know.

Mr.Ajagiya,
Generally,in every State returns are rquired to be filed monthly except with respect to small dealers who have opted for composition.For any problem,you visit your concerned LVO(VAT office),pose your queries and get them solved. That is better.
