I had file an ITR-1 for A.Y. 2013-14 in which I had claimed deduction of Rs.1,00,000 u/s 80C & Rs. 4000 u/s 80TTA. Now the order u/s 143(1) has come in which they have mentioned deduction u/s 80TTA to be 0 under the column "As Provided by Taxpayer in Return of Income" as well as under column "As Computed Under Section 143(1)". As a result of this a demand has arised.
Now kindly suggest me what to do to cancel this demand. If rectification u/s 154 has to be done what will be the reason for rectification.

I have also received similar demand. My return was filed through an e-filing software available in the market. It seems the xml has not been generated correctly and hence the demand in 143(1).
