Deduction under section 80dd, 80ddb & 80u

29 January 2015 Dear Sir/Madam,

My queries are stated below-
1. Does employer can give benefit of section 80dd, 80ddb & 80u deduction to employees?
2. What are the documents to be taken from employee to avail the above deductions?
3. What is the difference between 80DD, 80DDB & 80U?
4. How much amount can be claimed in each of the section?

29 January 2015 1. it is employee who needs to claim in his itr or while giving a declaration to employer.

2.all the supportings evidencing that this sections conditions are met with is required.

29 January 2015 Dear Mr.Tushar,

Employer need to collect only specified medical certificate certified by authorised medical authorities to allow deduction under sections 80DD, 80DDB & 80U.
