dear sir, RBI kanpur, purchases 'steel striping roll' amounting Rs 202000,from a dealer in kolkata,as per the agreement the rbi is required to pay Rs 202000 + taxes applicable on it. dealer has charged cst @ 5% on 202000 amounting Rs.10,100. now rbi is required to pay 202000+10100=222100 sir, my question is whether the rate of cst applied by the dealer is right or it should be 2% ?
