Purchase without issue of c form: implications

15 October 2012 I, a proprietor registered dealer in Maharashtra purchased some goods from Uttar Pradesh. I could not furnish C Form and hence the duty levied is 12.5%. Now, can I claim set-off of this duty i.e. input credit?
