25 May 2016 Please tell me whether commutation from pension amount is taxable or not?

If its taxable than under what will be the tax treatment?

if you received the gratuity the 1/3 of total amount will exempt subject to rs. 300000/-\
if gratuity not received then 1/2 will exempt from tax.

remaining pension taxable under income from salary head.
