Our company's name has changed now we want to amend it with service tax department so my question is, whether we have to surrender our ST-2 and apply for new Service tax registration certificate or only amendment in form ST-1 is sufficient ?? Pls answer in details with wording of act.

Pls make application through ST1 for amendment only Be informed that change name in PAN before application for amendment to change name in ST department.
