cenvat credit on service tax

Dear all,
service tax on reverse charge paid by partnership firm(manufacturing concern) for the financial year 15-16,paid in 16-17 financial year can we take cenvat credit on amount paid in financial year 16-17 ...please advise me

Even though the amount was paid late, CENVAT credit can be taken
