I am residing in a Flat owned by me. Now I have purchased a new flat the possession of which was taken on 14/08/2015.The agreement for purchase was made on 15th May 2015. The Conveyance is yet to be done. Please let me have your expert opinion as for the purpose of exemption under Section 54 for capital gain which date will considered if I sale the present flat.
