14 September 2015 If your service tax payment is less than 1 lac you can pay it through cheque.

14 September 2015 NO. You can't pay by cheque because online payment through electronic mode is mandatory from 1-10-2014.
Please see notification 9/2014-ST dated 11-7-2014.
