19 November 2011 Hi, I have cleared my CA final I st group in last attempt and given II nd group this time well, I am sure that this time I will clear. So my question is at persently I am working for a BPO drawing a net salary of 30,000 p.m. So please let me know what is my expected salary in the outside market as my company can't increase more than 20% of wat i am getting now if i clear CA. so that i will prepare my self i.e. whether to stay in the present company or look for better opportunities.

19 November 2011 Average salary in market is something around Rs5L to 6L for a CA fresher. But it very much more than that depending on your capabilities and luck.
And you should obviously look for something better than a BPO.

19 November 2011 After the May 2011 results of CA Final, now market is very low for chartered accountants. many chartered accountants are still unemployed. till last attempt the average salary for freshers were 5l to 6l, but now it came down to 4l to 5l.

If you are just concentrated on your salary then after clearing ca final, you may continue the bpo job for 6 mnths, why i am saying this is because, many companies are asking for atleast 6 mnths post qualification experience. In the mean time, you can attent campus interview and other interviews as well.

Now, if you look at a better career then you should be in Big 4's or in any good corporate sector rather than a BPO.

So, choice is yours, But i suggest you to be in Bpo now, and after results just apply many companies and if you get a call from any corporate, you can leave bpo. as of now, dont think of leaving your current job.
