Mandatory to register with ca final also along with ca articleship if you joining into articleship after qualifying both groups of ipcc . . . so do comply with the same . . other wise icai will not register your articleship,,and dont try to invite problems so register with ca final mandatorily . . what i said is very true,,one of my office friend faced trouble with this,,no doubt in my opinion,,above replies are incorrect

Better you contact icai and get their assistance . . i stand on above opinion given by me . . yes no timelimit to register for ca final but if you register for articleship after passing both groups of ipcc mandatorily required to register for ca final also . . so confirm the same by making call to icai chennai or contact nearest icai branch . . And post the result here..for the benifit of students hereafter

The ans given by mr ganesh babu is not valid i humbly suggest him to pls provide the extract of any such regulation or law that mandates any student to fill up form for ca final and articleship at 1 time.
in my view and as per my exp any student can join later for articleship and reg for finals earlier also after validly clearing ipcc exam duly conducted icai.

I am unable to agree with tushar ji . . if student starts articleship after completing both groups of ipcc he mandatorily required for ca final also along with ca articleship,,however i agree if he started articleship after passing group 1 of ipcc . . yes,, i cannot provide any icai reference and my friends case is the only fact known to me . . however i request author to confirm the same with icai nearest chapter and post what icai chapter people said here so that this discussion would be helpful in future,,and also can update ourself . . Mandatorily you should confirm with icai to avoid any difficulties in future

If u cannot provide any extract behind your advise then how any one can beleive you. Mr ganesh babu ur a professional and any smart professional does not speak without backing or support or by his own whims and fancies. when ur advsing some1 and contradiction is proved by many others then its ur professional duty to prove what u say otherwise no1 will bel u????
moreover above all other experts are opposing u then pls prove your point or dont argue over and over.

I have said that the issue was happened for my friend..clearly in my reply .. . thank you for your suggestions,,if relevant notification was there i would have come up with that only . . till today i have not given any of my reply simply as a judgement every thing supported by case law,section and notification number,,you can refer the history of my replies . any way thanks for your suggestion on how to reply and let the author confirms about this query with ICAI.. . .

I have not commented on your past history of advises and specifically talking about this issue on hand and if your friend have taken that way then ask him under which regulation and where it is provided to make ur suggestion more clear.

I do agree..with you tushar ji,, . . But every one can make a mistake and no one is exception for that,, . . My friend who passed both groups sent form 103 to icai but he not able to get his articleship registration successfully after 4 months he make a call to ICAI there by their objection was,,as student qualifies both groups of IPCC it is mandatory to register for ca final reg documents also . . so he send the same and with in 20 days he made his ca articleship registration successfull however he can able to register him self as on date provided in form 103 . . consequences for not sending ca final registration is his articleship registration will kept pending,,you can check with any of your friends or colleagues, just check their articleship status and let me know whether it is successfull or not!! . .
However as i dont have any icai supporting i cannot say more than this ,,however it will get resolved once author confirms about this with ICAI . . Even no where it is written that no time limit for ca final registration,..is there any notification?But it is there that student can register for ca final once he passed both groups of ipcc,......icai may objecting with this,,

Okay,, after search in caclub i got problem faced by some of our friends which is simular to my friends case... . . can confirm atleast with this and be alert and do register for ca final along with articleship if enters to articleship after passing both groups of ipcc ,,
it is not possible to argue icai that where you have given last date..so we should get alert with experiance of our fellow students . . refer links

they have mentioned sep fees for registration as article and for finals and i have enquired today on fone at incai bhavan at mumbai regional chapter that it can be registred sep now tell me when icai spokes person is telling then ur reply what should be done.

that is what u should have done earlier only u should have just give ur opinion and let others give their respective opinion and let teh querist decide what he wanna do, but u kept arguing saying i dont agree with this expert n that expert.
moreover u cannot judge ur self correctly whether ur opinion is ri8 or wrong u can jus give ur advice and others shall decide that including the querist.

I Do agree with the Mr.Ganesh babu. I.e to register for articleship for the students who completed their both groups is required to get registration for CA final either along with articlship registration or prior to registration to articleship.
As per the ICAI norms it requires has to complete final registration at the time of registration to Articleship getting after completion of IPCC both group.
In two of our office friends cases i saw this. And for many of students cases i saw posts at CACLUBINDIA.
One of the my friend had come to our office to start his articleship after completion of IPCC both groups. so he send form 102 & 103 to the ICAI to get registration to Articleship with out sending or getting final registration, after that almost eight months over but no communication received from ICAI then we contacted ICAI through e-sahayataa for the status of Articleship registration process then they replied " you have completed both groups of IPCC so required to complete final registration also so pending for final registration your articleship registration is pending" then immediately he send the final registration form along with prescribed fee then with in 2 weeks he received both the final and articleship registration letters but articleship commencement date is considered as mentioned in the form 103.
So this is the true case and confirm.
So in one word required getting of final registration along with the articleship registration or prior to articleship registration to complete articleship registration.
In last 15 days i saw a query from a student the query is "he completed both groups of IPCC at a time and send articleship registration forms(but didn't send final registration forms) almost 2 years back but till now he didn't received any communication from ICAI as well as his articleship doesn't registered based on the member's profile details he is so worry regarding this. The reason to not complete registration is not to get final registration.
Still any one have doubt regarding this then please post a query at e-sahayataa at your own then only you shall confirm this.
