can bonus be paid to employees whose basic salary is more than 10000 p.m.

Every employee who is drawing a salary or wage upto Rs. 10000.00 per month (w.e.f. 1-4-2006) and who has worked for minimum period of 30 days in a year is entitled to be paid bonus. {Section 2(13) & 8}

However, now a days as we use CTC, so therefore it depends on your company that they pay bonus to those employees too whose salary is above 10K

but even in ctc bonus should not be mentioned
for those employees whose salary is more than 10000?
is it right?

If the company has not included bonus in their CTC, then they are not entitled (if their salary is more than 10K)

other case is that employee getting basic 15000 and also getting bonus and both are part of ctc. are they right because basic is >10000 and bonus is given?

Yes that is also correct. As I said it totally depend on the company and its HR policies.

The dept. give you a botton line that whom you can't ignore. But above that if you want to give to other employees to,, its ur wish.

in such case not mandatory to pay bonus under bonus act,,management has to take decision whether to pay bonus to them or not
