Hi we are going to increase salary of employees. what we have to consider while making increments of salary. we did performance assessment except it in the terms of finance.

you need to have a policy for it man...check industry standards, past year's figures, bonus etc...add/delete on the basis of management view on company specific/year specific issues. Also need to consider whether the company uses increments as retention tool or appreciation tool - it can make a difference to the spread among the best performing and average performing employees.
