Auditors' Signature

This query is : Resolved

09 November 2009 Respected Sir/Madam,

Who will be held responsible if an auditor has not signed the "Notes on Accounts" which is a part of the balance sheet. In this case, the auditor has first signed and then cancelled his signature on the Notes of Accounts without stating any reason.

What should be done by the company in this case.

Regards,
Jyoti

09 November 2009 Auditor must have reason for not signing Notes to A/cs. You should ask to your auditor

If auditor has signed on audit repoart and Balancesheet, its implied that he hasa signed on notes on accountants.

No one can deny on signing on notes.
