I have filed a ITR- 1 on 23.07.2014 but later on I found that the exempt income is more than Rs. 5000.00 so I filed a Revised Return i.e ITR- 2 on 12.09.2014 where I stated the required details i.e. Original Return's Acknowledgement No and Date of Filing the Original Return. But Income Tax Department has sent an Assessment Order i.e. 143(1)by raising a demand u/s. 234(A). Please reply that for what reason I.T. Department has raised the demand.
