18 November 2011 Hi,

Can anyone guide me for doing my articleship in Canada (Saskatchewan, SK).
As I would be there for about next five yrs and then plan to come back and practice in India. Can anyone provide me the list of Indian CA who are practicing in SK so that I could approach one of them for persuing my articleship there.

19 November 2011 if you are planning for a practice in india, then there is no meaning of doing your articleship from Canada.

but if you are very particular about doing articleship there, then you can find the details in http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/chartered-accountant

But i suggest you to do CPA, if you are in European countries.

However I have one more query.
Doing my articleship abroad and coming back to India and appear for CA Final Exams.
Suppose I clear my CA Exams would this articleship abroad really impact in any manner my membership rights for practice in while applying for membership in ICAI, India.

Can I work on part-time basis in Canada just for my survival there, simultaneously with articleship going on.
Or do I have to take any permission from the ICAI in that regard.

20 November 2011 CA is always done through hard work. it doesn't have any impact on your Membership rights or for practice in India. So you can complete your articleship from Saskatchewan and you can practice in India after that.

But don't forget to be update with ICAI.

20 November 2011 Regarding to part time work, it should be apart from your office working hours. If you do any work or any other studies with CA, you need to take permission from ICAI in Form :112.
