Whether charitable trust has to file the annual return and what are the criteria. can you please help me regarding the concequences if the charitable trust have to file it and they haven't file the annual return for last 3 years

If the assesse (Charitable trust) is claiming deduction u/s 11,12 and the total income before deduction(u/s 11 and 12) is exceeding basic exemption limit then, audit u/s 12A(b) is applicable and return has to be filed.
