Amendment in service tax registration

29 May 2015 Dear Expert,
Recently in our company, we have made following changes
1.Resignation & Appointment of Directors
2.Change the Name of Company
Now, we want to amend Service Tax Registration.So, kindly let us know the procedure & documents required and it will be grateful if you provide us formats of the required Docs.

29 May 2015 Amendment would be required where there is any change in the particulars furnished in the ST 1 at the time of registration. The changes shall be intimated to the department within 30 days of such change.
The fact that the ST 1 is being filed for an amendment, should be clearly highlighted on the form The assessee shall submit a certified copy of the Registration Certificate The application may also be accompanied by a covering note explaining the circumstances that led to the change with copies of relevant documents being given.

29 May 2015 Now New Registration is done online, Log in aces.gov.in and complete your registration. For Amendment use the same link and go to "Amendment" and fill up the form. In both cases you have to furnish the TRADE LICENCE, PAN CARD, ADDRESS PROFF, and other documents as required according the status of the service provider. For amendment you require the old registration certificate in xerox.
