Advice and Assistance Fees

26 July 2010 One of our Italy supplier raised a invoice to us for advice and assistance fees as advice provided by him in india.

Now, somebody please let me know should we deposit service tax on this.

We are depositing I.T. @ 20%.

28 July 2010 Prima facie yes….. you would be liable for service tax under reverse charge mechanism under section 66A.
