One of our client's relative is travelling to Turkey for participating in dance competition. For this they need to remit foreign currency for hotel booking to a travel agent in Istanbul. The bank is asking for 15CA/CB. Is there any provision by which we can avoid 15CA/CB?

195(6) has played this new confusion. The banks are insisting on this form for ALL types of remittances. (In a way, it is good for the Chartered Accountants.) There is a provision whereby one can avoid this 15CA and 15 CB route. One may approach the International Taxation officer and ask for issuing the NO tds or LOWER tds
I think getting 15 CA and 15CB seems to be easier and at an arm's length.
