I want to know is spouse can take deduction u/s 80c for insurance policy premium paid for spouse.
when spouse is (i) dependent or (ii) if working.

14 March 2013 Yes. 80C deduction is allowed for insurance premium paid for spouse. It is irrelvant whether the spouse is dependent or working
