31 August 2019 Dear Sir,

I have received certain amount from LIC for which 1% TDS was deducted from them in 18-19.Is it taxable?

02 September 2019 TDS is applicable on all taxable payments made under life insurance policies if the total amount exceeds Rs 1 lakh.
