Regarding change in correspondence address in SSP portal

This is not a rented property, and all the utility bills are in my father’s name. I would like to update my address so that the membership kit can be delivered to my new residence.
Since the utility bills are under my father’s name, may I update the new address using his name as proof?

Tds short payment certificate no mismatch or not entered in form 26q while filing

To rectify a missing or mismatched short deduction certificate for Q3, you must file a Correction Statement by downloading the Conso File from TRACES. Update the correct certificate number in Annexure I of the RPU, ensure the reason code is set to 'A', and re-submit the validated .fvu file. This will link the lower rate to the AO's authorization and clear any outstanding tax demand.

COP and Employment with CA Firm

In short, while ICAI allows you to hold a COP and be employed in a CA firm, you are classified as Part-time. To sign for personal clients, you must register a proprietary firm on the SSP, obtain written consent from your current employer, and ensure you aren't violating the Code of Ethics regarding "soliciting" clients. Most CAs find it legally and professionally safer to either remain a pure employee or go fully independent, as the "middle ground" requires significant compliance and employer transparency.

To apply for your ICAI membership immediately despite having outdated IDs, your best bets are using a registered rent agreement, a utility/broadband bill, or updating your bank records first to generate a statement for the new address. Alternatively, you can apply using your old address as per your IDs and update it on the SSP portal later once your government records are synchronized.

Regarding change in correspondence address in SSP portal

I am a newly qualified Chartered Accountant. While applying for membership, I am required to upload address proof.

I have recently shifted to a new residence, but all my government-issued IDs reflect my previous address. At present, I do not have any document that shows my current address. Updating my address in government IDs will take some time; however, I would like to apply for membership at the earliest.

please advise on how I can resolve this issue?
