Life is sum of short decisions, actions and beautiful reactions of them with bit of unavoidable and undesired results

Some people say hard work is necessary in life. I agree but luck play very important role most times.

"A daily wager work hard but don’t get deserving returns.

A son of businessman etc. gets everything without hard work."

Sometimes we don’t get what we want even after our hardest efforts

Sometimes we get success by luck

What is your viewpoint?

On a personal note and to be very honest, I believed in hard work and was not a firm believer of the "divine technology" called as "LUCK" until I was in 12th standard and reached the PCC stage, but as I gained momentum in the CA Course, I started believing in the "LUCK Factor" :P. Both the luck and hard work now seem complementary to me.

There is something to learn from every situation.

I am not upset with the varied situations I am faced with, but am able to remain cheerful enjoying everything that comes my way.

Use all challenges to enrich ur own capabilities.

Hard work itself is not key success factor. of course luck too. every thing depends on situation. we should act according to the situation in order to get success.

Deepak Sir what u said is 100% true. I agree to u.

I want to clear one thing Most of them said "Hard work Never Fails it gives Success in ur Life." I agree with this.

But the real fact is Hard workers lose the Time of doing hark worker to get Success in their life.

CA student is a good Example for this. One who cleared CA at age of 21 to 22 if they have luck but at same time some of them complete it at age of 30 also. Here the first person enjoy the happiness after age of 22 but the next one doing hard work for 8 years to enjoy their happiness. (i.e) Time is a Fixed Asset if we lose 8 years of age it will never come back in our life.(It was said by my Auditor).

By this I clearly said “HARD WORK NEVER LOSE SUCCESS BUT IT WILL LOSE LIFE TIME OF AGE.”

Dear Deepakji,

When the Pandavas were serving their exile period in forest, they were in a very deep misery. They were lamenting for their fate. One day Markendeya Rishi visited them as an unexpected guest and gave a very valuable advice to King Yudhisthira, which is as follows :

" My dear Yudhisthira, you should not allow yourself to become overly aggrieved because of your sufferings. Not only you, but everyone is working under the direction of the Supreme controller. Nothing can take place without His sanction. Because we are all controlled living entities, no one should become proud of his God-gifted strength or abilities, nor should one become angry at life's reverses. Our duty is to remain on the path of virtue in all circumstances, and in that way our success is guaranteed...." (Mahabharata - Vana Parva)

As per our scripttures, we living entities have control over our actions, but no control over the fruits of actions. We just have to persevere and should not be overattached to the fruits of actions, as fruits of our actions are given by The Parmatma (Lord Krishna) as per our Prarabdha.

Thus, the formula of Success = Prarabdha+Purusharatha

But the most important thing is that " One cannot succeed without hard work, Luck only complements the hard work, but luck can never be a replacement for hard work"

In the long run, only hard work will come to the rescue because "Fortune favors those who favour themselves"

our hardwork never goes wasted.., though we are in computer age..God has his own timings, plans and policies.., we get success if only we deserve it.., he is not in hurry to sanction all our wishes, he takes his own time.., thatswhy he quoted.. only duties are in our hand, and we have no right on results..., just keep on putting your efforts for a good cause, and accept whatever he gave us.., and happiness not lies in success, success lies in achieving happiness with whatever we have...:)

Yes, it's true because fortune favors the bold and abandons the timid. But as Hariniji said, it is subject to God's own timings, plans and policies. We get success only if we deserve it...
