Dear Members,

Please let me know about the benefits of CS for CA students if he wants to do CA practice. further i want to know that "three years’ experience of continuous practice on a whole-time basis as a Chartered Accountant" is equivalent to 12 months training required in cs after passing professional examinations. What are the other cs training options for ca.

no dear.. Training done in ca wil not b a base for getting exemption from training of CS at all

The practical training may be dispensed for a student, if to the satisfaction of the Council, he has fulfilled the following experience, namely,
.
"Two years experience of continuous practice on a whole-time basis as a Chartered Accountant or a Cost Accountant having carried out statutory or cost or internal audit or providing management consultancy services."
.
- Refer Chapter VI A, Regulation 44AB, Clause 2(iii)(a) of the modified training structure notified by ICSI on 01.04.2014.
