“If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.” Thomas Edison

Life is a series of choices. It is the choices that we make which decides our today and tomorrow as well decided our past. In our life it is important to decide whether we want to live among top 1% and explore our potential or settle for the status quo (be an amateur). As Mr. Ronak Singhavi, Founder and Director of Auriga IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd., put it developing a “CEO in Oneself” is one of the way of placing yourself in top 1%. This is the thought he discussed with the students of Jaipur during the interaction in Skill India Program of Techbuddy. Whether one is sitting for placements or working in company it is constantly important to be among the top students.
To give you the overview of the session following are the key points :
  • Know your interests, then what you have to do to be a CEO in them and focus on those things.
  • “Always be in the room”. When you are doing something focus on that thing only and leave the rest.
  • In a team work divide each bigger task into smaller and make every person a CEO for certain task.
  • Move into action: Today is the new tomorrow. Don’t leave things on tomorrow.
  • “CEO in You” means executions in you that mean how effectively you can execute each and every task.
  • Approach every problem as a new algorithm, don’t rest until you find the solution, if needed consult other people, and never lose your self-confidence.
  • Your efficiency should be 100% in every work or task.
  • Take responsibility of everything you do instead of running from the consequences.
  • Always show your strength and weakness in an interview so that interviewer can understand which type of work he can give you.
  • We should always write our 5-5 strength and weakness and consult with experience person.
  • Communication skill doesn’t mean speaking in English it is just a way of speaking, it doesn’t matter what language one uses, English or Hindi, but important is people should be able to understand you.
To conclude I would say one should see every task as the challenge where one has to prove to oneself as well as to others that people can look at him/her as a DOER.
