My fellow students who are also going through articleship please speak out. Is articleship really necessary ,I am an IPCC passed student and if i feel the need of a practical experience i can easily go for a job that pays me much more than 1200 or 1500.
I know for a fact that ICWA s didnt have articleship training untill now,and I know many cwa who are having their practical training after passing final.In my knowledge they are doing just fine,they get good money and they dont feel like there a pressure on them.
Now look at us we hardly get enough money to cover the travelling expenses relating to our job,we have to beg for two or one hours early leave for a class we would be attending,and after the hard work of the day when we go to class we barely understand anything.
So in my opinion articleship should be made optional, so as to give student a choice about whether they would like to study ca final right away or want to gain practical experience first.
