My aim is to join in IIM after CA.

Inorder to get into it, a degree is a pre-requisite.

Therefore I am doing it together

In this competitive and fast moving situation,, B.com. helps a lot,,,,,,

it allows you to give many competitive exams,, like, RBI andother banks,, IAS, etc.,,,

B.com. is not a waste if you study it seriously, it covers nearly all topics of CA( CPT, IPCC and few of Final) course,,

if you have few other Degrees or Certificates, it helps in raising your pay as well Promotion chances,

else it depends on you -- What you want to do after CA and what you think to do in future...

This is just my point of view...

bcom is nuthing but a small back up of ca.....wat if u r not able to complete ca even after giving 5-6 attampts....in such a case bcom comes into picture.....bcom is  adegree from university...it is recognised...if u go abroad for study/job etc bcom is definitely helpful.....i rate bcom/mcom > ca as it is a degree from a university and not a insitute/npo like icai......

Bcom is prereqisite as the hr policy of every company to have a candiadte selected who must have at least a bachelor degree whether you are ca or mba  that is why it is essential to do.Don't neglect it, if this, course is similar with ca then the pass percentage and the confidence among the students will not be the same. It is not whether you fail or pass in ca it is the system of india that you must have specified degree. Because knowledge is not evaluated only the degree is evaluated
