When shud i last register for articles?

HI Deepshikha here!hav cleared by PE2 in nov2005 attempt(1st attempt)hav given my computer training onlin on 2nd sunday of march,06.cud sum1 plz tel me wen can i maximum register by, for my articles to be eligible for nov.2008 final attempt as am still waiting for the computer training certificate!PLEASE

Mohan here.i m a ca final student with final exam due on may 2008.

u told u have given online exam of CCT.well gud!!

now start applyin to various firms.

u told u want to appear in NOV 2008 exam.then for tht u have to register for articles before 30th june.

pls dont rely on the ICAI for despatch of computer training certificate.after few weeks u keep following up for ur certificate.

and ya congrats for ur PE II results.

Hi Deepshika,
Many firms take article trainees even before you get the CCT certificate( I mean some good firms). But however the period will be calculated from the date you complete your online examination. And as Mr.Mohan has already said, NEVER wait for the CCT certificate from the institute because it will take ages to reach you!

Hi

The last date for registering for articleship is 30 th of April.. (It is not 30 th June)
May be u can go to our site www.icai.org and always keep yourself updated
