As per my view it is around 10% in group-1 (Main reason for fallen result is Financial Reporting paper where majority of students will be fail) and 15% for both group... and in second group papers was easy so  i am expecting very tough step marking....

Dear Ravi,

As i think so, papers of Second Group was also not very easy .

So, the following situations will be arises :-

Both - 10 %

First  - 13 %

Second - 22 %

It is irrelavant to discuss topic which is not in our hand, it is upto ICAI what they thinks.

Our work is only to give best in exams by doing hard work.then no one will stop u to get success.

Dear Neha Lets hope for the best result without thinking about passing % of students & start our studies as a precautionery measure. because if the result will be postive we will lose nothing but unfortunately if the result will be negative then we will have only 3 Months Only ( Feb March April ) with Articleship / Job pressures so it is prudent approach to start study as soon as possible to cope with such unwanted situation...winksmiley

REDUCING Passing percentage can not enhance ca value. It's only the quality of students who pass exams can enhance ca value.Jobs are still waiting for good quality ca, who are actually talented. and professional by skill and not by degree.
I fail to understand what icai have plan for CA
Would be around 9% . bcoz of the job scenario in d market !!

A well-informed officer recently suggested that the Pass percentage (Both Groups), which touched 10% in May 2013, could fall further in the future.

"8% to a low of even 5%", is what he said. Whether that is their personal opinion or whether it reflects the Institute's outlook, I could not make out.
