I wold like ask you please read the more material regarding Auditing & try to read suggested answers, if possible please quote all the applicable sections & provisions related to question like AS, AAS, Income Tax, Companies Act, Guidence Notes, Sebi, Fema etc. this combination of answers definetly improve your score.

Agreed with Nilesh. Strong your As & AAS. As well as professional ethics chapter shud be revised thoroughly coz it requires quoting of exact schedule no. alongwith specific clause. Chapters Like Company Audit, Audit Report, Audit of stock exchanges, Insurance Co., professional ethics shud be go through first while start ur study. As far as possible try to revise ur syllabus by writing in a copy, this makes ur confidence boosting. Strong command over AS & AAS makes a lot of difference in exams.

Generally, what ever you answer, you have to support it through provisions, rules, case laws, circulars etc. Dont give vague answers, dont give your answer in first sentence itself like "Yes, it is correct...." First explain the provisions, Analyse the case and give your opinion.

For direct theory questions, you should be able to convince the examiner that you have understood what is being asked. Simple language can be used.
