06 June 2016Dear Arpit,
First of all congratulation for passing the exam and best of luck for CPT. It is better to do graduation along with CA course. Now the question is whether to go for regular or SOL. My answer is go for regular. However, it is better to join those colleges where attendence is not important. Since you are planning to get admission in D.U, the most prestigious university because you have got good marks in your class 12 exam.
When you will join your articleship after passing IPCC, it may create problem if you get admission in the college where Attendence is necessary.
I hope this suggestion will help you
!! BEST OF LUCK !!
Regards

Dear Arpit
The law is after joining articles , you have a flexibility of doing one (only one) additional course (Eg: CS,CMA,B.Com.,LLB) with permission of ICAI (without permission number of courses you like). But as per law you can do B.Com only in DISTANCE NOT REGULAR. You may ask what if I may not follow the Law the answer is simple after passing CA Final and applying Membership No. the alloting of Membership No. to you is delayed by maximum 6 months and minimum 15 days depending upon contravention of law of ICAI

after you pass IPCC, you can shift to open school , till then enjoy campus life. However if yo want to concentrate on studies, take the open school, join a coaching class and concentrate on IPCC

I dont think there is any college in DU where attendence is not compulsory.
Can anyone help me out with that ? I scored 95.8% in 12th boards and 95% in best four.

It is internal matter of colleges
That attendence matters or not...
Inquire aome old students of some colleges...but there is a provision in some colleges for ca students in which college allow student to go for articleship and allow student to appear in university exams simultaneously without attending college...
Also look out for this..
Al d best

Hey Hi...
There are 3 levels in CA.. 1. CPT, 2. IPCC and 3. Final.
If you have done B.Com with 55% marks then you get exception from giving CPT. U have to just give IPCC and Final.
U must be thinking "Which one is good??": It depends.
If you have already completed B.com then its good that u don't have to give CPT & u will take around 3&1/2-4 yrs to become CA.
But If you are in 12th or in 1st yr of B.com then why to waste 2-3 years. Start as early as possible. U can become CA in 4&1/2 yrs. By the age of 21-23
So decide accordingly...
