Can any one tell how start with ISCA...??
becoz i m really gettin confused wid how to manage ISCA for May 2013
I studied using the institute material and dinesh madan..
what was the crux was that i prepared my own side points and tried to remember them till the end. Certain concepts were much easier in dinesh madan and the way of tabulation and diagrammatical representation was too good.
i represented all the side points in diagramtical forms and that help me to fetch an exemption..
study eveyrhtin systematically and get use to understand the areas and concpets.
On the first page of Dinesh madan book we have a table where he explains how to study and in what sequence..
Mind it..! ISCA needs patience to go thru and prepare ur own side points and read things like a story....
THis is how i prepared rest is on you.
@ Karan Teli
It means study from both Study Material & Dinesh Madan (for Reference)..??![]()
My suggession is Dinesh madan with practise manual. If you can able to read once the ICAI modules will be have some added advanatages.
Go for Institute study material, if you have sufficient time. That is the best option. And if you are short of time, go for Dinesh Madan. The book in easy to understand language, as compared to institute study material. Prepare a summary of headings for each chapter and learn them. Even if you mention the headings with brief explanations, you wil get good marks. Good luck.
ISCA preparation tips
1. Read ICAI materials once. This covers a detailed and explantory area.
2. Opt for any good reference book. These referecen books are infact the conceptual crux from the ICAI materials.
3. Make sure to prepare notes. Why we preparing notes for this subject is a non commerce papers. Terms and terminologies are system oriented and easy to forget.
4. More frequent number of revisions than other subject.
5. Learn from your practise manuals
