Hi, I want to get clear that why in IPCC prospectus, they have bifurcated courses of both groups and both groups & ATC in which ATC has been indicated as optional. What's the difference and will it affect my CA career if I select only both groups and not both groups and ATC

ATC means acccounting technician certificate. if after IPCC u find some diificulty in passsing CA final or u don't want to passs then u can undergo 4 yrs training like articleship and then can give u ATC and u can work like a accountanttttt.

What does this mean after IPCC and then if I can't pass CA -Final, I'd have to undergo articleship for 4 years. I suppose, articleship can be started after passing group 1 of IPCC, ain't it? I won't have to undergo articleship training again.
Also, my question was, if I don't join both groups and ATC, but only both groups, then will I have to undergo articleship training or not. If i'd have to join articleship anyway without accepting both groups and ATC, will it affect my CA Career
Are bhaiyon, main sirf itna janana chahta hun ki agar main sirf both groups ko hi join karun na ki both groups aur ATC, to usse kya fark padega.

If you join ATC Group 1 you are not undergoing IPCC Difference - ATC has only Group 1 while IPCC has 2 Groups, Passing any one (ATC/IPCC) will let you begin articleship but for 1 year in ATC and 3 years in IPCC. |

You cannot Join Both Groups of IPCC and ATC together.

I dunno what do you talking about. Allow me to clarify myself more clearer. Yesterday, I've bought IPCC Form. In course selectioan column, they have given following options:
A) GROUP I OF IPCC
B) GROUP II OF IPCC
C) ACCOUNTING TECH. COURSE
D) GROUP I OF IPCC AND ATC
E) GROUP II OF IPCC AND ATC
F) GROUP I AND GROUP II OF IPCC
G) GROUP I, GROUP II OF IPCC AND ATC(ALL LEVEL)
Thus, I want to know whether I should select (F) or (G). What if I select (F)? Also, what extra benefit if I select (G)
Perhaps, this should make my query clear. Buddy, I need an urgent explaination on this coz I gotto submit my application in next week anyhow.

you can do ipcc both the groups with ATC , it just creates or give security that if u did not compleate ca u can work as junior accountant known as ATC.............
u can do both together ,it just gives safety

Hi
If you select F , the you will register for both grps of IPCC.
Extra benefit for selecting G is that you are also registered for ATC along with your ultimate goal IPCC both groups and thereafter CA..In some case if u r unable to clear CA , you can have ATC Cerfificate..
To conclude, if ur ultimate aim is CA , you can register any of F and G.

Suppose, I don't select both groups and ATC but only both groups, in what matter its gonna affect my articleship training. I mean, does it affect the number of years required to complete articleship or in any other way.
bhai agar atc ka registration kara liya ho aur baad mein ye lage ki apne se final nai hoga toh articleship ki training 4 yrs ki hogi aur ATC ka certificate mil jayegaaaaa
I have failed in my attempt of Ipcc..now planning to give may 2014 ipcc attempt both groups..I want Accounting Technician Course (ATC) option open to me..so can u help me in knowing how to do it? first time while signing up..I have applied for both groups of Ipcc..and nt both groups of ipcc and ATC..so help we with a way to open the option of ATC..reply asap..ty! :)
