I AM A BIT CONFUSED ABOUT what is discrete & continuous variables??
CAN ANY BODY TELL ME IN DETAILS??
AND PLZ. TELL ME WHETHER THESE ARE discrete & continuous variables
1. AGE OF A PERSON
2. SALARY OF A PERSON
3.WEIGHT OF A PERSON
PLZ. PLZ. HELP I AM VERY MUCH CONFUSED.

i also got the answer after reading that age is a discrete variable.
but in one question in the icai study material it is mentioned that AGE s a continuous variable.
so i was bit confused.

dear bhibhuti
in my opinion discreate variables are those which can be counted and continous variables are those which can be measured.
age and salary are definately discreate and weight is a continous one.
