What is a scanner and compiler

Scanner- Only Questions asked in previous exam.

Compiler - Includes Questions of past exam + Answers to that Questions.

Scanner is published by a private publishing body " Suchita Publications Pvt. Ltd."

Scanner : Only questions asked in the previous exams

Solved Scanner : Questions + Answers to those questions

Super Scanner : Solved Scanner + some notes of each topic

Suggested Answers Book & Compiler are published by the institue

Suggested answers is only for a specific attempt

Compilers are subject wise for various attempts.

The difference is that Suchita publishes questions for the past 24-25 exams whereas institute compilers are not for that long period. Having said that, one can place reliance only on institute materials, you can keep scanners for your referance.

thanks Sanyam Sultania  but  what should i buy  super scanner or compiler which is best

Buy Super scanners as a good ready reference, as they cover good amt of notes & a longer period Compiliation of Exam Questions to substantiate the ICAI notes & material, But always see that ICAI study material views & solutions are always correct when there is a difference found in the solution of Scanner ( Any Pvt Publication Book ) & ICAI

You can download the institutes compiles & suggested free of cost as pdf's from the icai site (Bos Knowledge Portal in students section). Heres the link:

But for scanners by shuchita, I'm sorry that will not be possible.
