Actuary will be a different ball game altogether. You will study  totally different things from what you will study in CA final, hence can result lack of concentration in both of them. In the end its your decision, but it will not be advisable to do actuary. However 2 years is a big gap,I would advise you to do CS,as it will supplement your knowledge acquired in CA. If you have time from your articleship, means if you are not doing your articleship regular and have means, you can opt for either CFA or CPA,for the time being. Fees for CPA is around 1.25 lacs and for CFA level 1 is $1000.

roshan actuary has a good scope but its totally a different field than CA . u have to manage ur timing between different thngs such and a lack of studies in both may result to a failure . think before going into a different field.

i think along with CA suitable courses are CS Or CMA.

As these courses involve same kind of syllabus.

It will save your time andgive you valuable degree also.

dude actuary is one hell of a qualification.........ppl get attracted to the 40 lac salary wich an actuary earns but ppl forget tat it is only after 10-15 yrs of hardcore experience....no1 will ever give such an amt to a fresher......i have seen ppl hu were unable to clear all the actuary papers throughout their life(20-25 yrs).......imagine it is tat tough...ppl hu have done msc/ma in stats/maths have a clear advantage over u...moreover if u earn tis qualfn ur entire line changes man....u r no longer into audit n tax wich is d backbone of a CA......it is better if u do CS , LLB etc.....i.e quafln wich r in line wid ca....just mere collection of degrees n cetificates will lead u nowere......best wishes....
