e-TDS/TCS statement warning file

I am getting error while preparing FVU file plz some body help me out in this regard

how do u filling the return. r u using any software or file downloaded from income tax site.

I think there should be a mistake while keying in the datas relating to the tax challan such as Challan No, Date of Remitance, Bank BSR code etc.

While making payment of tax challan if the Type of Payment is selected as (400)TDS/TCS Regular Assessment (Raised by I.T. Deptt.) than this error may appear while preparing fvu file.

contact Assessing Officer to Correct the Type of Payment of particular challan.

dear all .

this error is because of the CSi file which he has download is incomplete . so nothing to worry abt u can submit the return because CSI file is not compulsary to validate the FVU file .

When you prepair FUV file it will link the challan data with the TDS challan payment details data with NSDL. so make sure yopu are entering the correct challan details in the return. you can download challan details file from

https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/servlet/TanSearch

here you have to give the details of TAN no.

period of challans payment

then the new window will appear where you have to confirm the status of challan in hand

Dear Sir

In filing the E-Tds correction returns we added the interest challanas for defaults generated by E-TDS we are getting the same error as

T-FV-3141

Challan details mentioned in the statement not present in the challan file imported

in Oltas challana file the above challan is included and also amount is matched i am getting the same error as generated by warning file so what can i do

e-TDS/TCS statement warning file is generated by FVU if :
1. The value in the Bank Branch Code (BSR code) field of challan in the e-TDS/TCS statements is not present in the authorized list of collecting Bank Branch Codes in the FVU and/or
2. If the PAN of the deductor is same as that of any deductee in the e-TDS/TCS statement.
3. If the challans details of the statement do not match with the details uploaded by the bank.
4. In case tax is deducted at higher rate and corresponding rate of deduction is less than 20%.
5. If date of deduction is beyond the quarter.
This file is generated to give an alert to the deductor about the records in which invalid values are mentioned.

verify the challans on 'CIN Based View' . Then you will know the accuracy of the challans.

Secondly you may be preparing the file immediately i.e. on the day of paying these challans - when the challns are still under process.

Had you been preparing before the status of these challans are found in the TAN based view then this problem will ..................be there........... ( I also faced the same problem but no solution)
