Hi I need to know... what's the time withi in which vat e-return should be filed on due date? is there any time prescribed for that?
If vat return is not filed within the due date and its e-filed after some days then what's the consequences?

Well, It's practicle to submit vat e-return before 12 o'clock night at due date. There is no such time prescribed for time at due date like service tax .
And if return is not filed within due date then there will be penalty for late filing of e-return. Penalty is based upon the respective state's vat act.

no specific time is prescribed for submission of VAT returns thatswhy it generally submitted before 12 o clock at midnight. penalty depends upon State VAT Act

you can file on last day of due date till 8.00 pm

Vat should be filed before 20th midnight..Failing ll attract fine..
