validity of share transfer form for private company

Hello,

I have a doubt regarding the interpretation of Sec 108 of Companies Act, 1956...For how many months is the share transfer form valid if to be used for a private company... If the transfer is to be registered on the date of 6th October transfer forms within which dates can be used...Kindly help out to solve this confusion....Thanks in advance....
