Okay you do this,
i used this procedure to reset password of my clients
1)FOR EVERY ONE USER ID IS HIS PAN NUMBER ONLY
2)AND FOR RESETING PASSWORD.THERE IS TWO CASES
(I) YOU CAN RESET PASSWORD BY PRESSING FORGOT PASSWORD LINK AND AFTER YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE PREVIOUS YEAR E-FILIED RETURN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NUMBER,AND BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER.
(II)YOU CAN SEND A MAIL TO validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in, requesting them to reset your password.
you have to request them for reseting your password saying that '' sir i am unable to login to my account in efiling websie so please reset my password."
And you have to provide
PAN NUMBER,
YOUR NAME AS PER PAN RECORDS,
FATHER NAME
DATE OF BIRTH
ADDRESS AS PER PAN RECORDS,
MOBILE NUMBER,
i have tried this say some 10 days back i have received reply from them just around 4 hours only,
this mail to validate @ incometaxindia.gov.in trick definetely works,,of course it is the only solution for this.
