1) For how many yeaars can the relief u\s 89(1) be claimed for the A Y 2012-13??
2) In form 10E, While filling the table A: do we have to write the arrears year wise or combined arrear in previous year 2011-12?

it think the answer to your q is as follows. do conform it 1) an employee who receive salary of profit in liu of salary for more then 12 month can take relif u/s 98. thus in a.y. 2012-13 an employee can take relif for arrear or advance salary of any number of year. how ever in case of retirement benifit e.g gratuity etc. it shoul be divided in three previous financial years. 2) in case of arrear or advance salary its should be written year wise. in case of retirement benifit it should be divided in three previous financial years. |
