In AY 2008-9 by mistake I entered LTCG from equity in Sedule SG B2 and the income was added to my taxable income. I got the demand letter in Nov 2011. In Jan 2012 i filled rectification. Assesing officer says that this is not a mistake apparent on record so can not be treated U/S 154. I got no chance to rectify my mistake. What should I do. Pl guide.
