Dear Peers,

I'm a Transporter Agent , I arrange trucks to my clients and i do not own any . I receive frieght from clients and keep some percentage and pay the rest to the Truck Driver/owner.

So what is the Actual Turnover under Section 44 AB ? The frieght received from the clients or only the Comission Part (That Percentage which I reffered above?

Gross receipts as you r not working on behalf of transport agency on commission basis. There is principal to principal relationship. Although your income is only certain percentage of gross receipts but it cannot be said that the business is on commission basis.

YOU WORK AS A COMMESSION AGENT LIKE A AARTI ( MANDI MAIN BOLI LAGANE WALA) IN VEGETABEL MARKET, THE AARTI ARRENGE CUSTMER FOR FARMAR AND CLEINT FOR SHOPKEEPAR ,

THE AARTI GET GROSS AMOUNT FRO SHOPKEEPAR( PURCHASER) AND PAID TO FARMAR (SALER) AFTER DEDUCT HIS COMMISSION ( AARAT).

SO THE INCOME OF AN AARTI ONLY HIS COMMESSION , NOT GROSS AMOUNT WHICH IS RECEIVE FROM SHOPKEEPAR AND PAID TO SALER)
